Before founding Samovar Tea Lounge in San Francisco, CA, Jesse Jacobs was working for an Internet company, feeling ironically unconnected to his life and overworked. Until one rainy day he had a realization while drinking tea in his cubicle: he could use tea as a way to positively bring people together in a new business venture.
That's when Jesse decided to quit his job and start a company that uses tea to creative positive human connections. It took Jesse 72 attempts until he finally received a loan from a bank that believed in his idea. Since then, Samovar Tea Lounge has gained immense popularity has been featured in the New York Times, CNN, Forbes, and Wall Street Journal. Jesse's vision to create an environment using tea to influence people to slow down. connect with other people around us, and live inspired lives has been noticed and appreciated by many.
